iO West is having a FREE improv class on Saturday, December 15th from 1 – 3pm on the Mainstage.

This is a great opportunity to see first hand what our improv training is like. In the class you will experience some of the exercises from our Level 1 class, Introduction to Improv.

Teams come from all over Los Angeles to compete in iO’s Sketch CageMatch.

Once inside the cage, each team performs a sketch to be judged by audience vote. The winner returns the following week to defend the championship. Any team that wins 10 in a row gets a 1-hour, prime time slot on the iO Mainstage to showcase their winning sketches!

What are you doing tonight??? Performing your role as the perfect audience member for tonight’s Awesome, or shall I say SICK Stand Up line up?  Great!   You forgot the information? Please allow me to refresh your mind.  The Where: iO West Comedy Theater’s Main Stage. The When: 8:30pm, TONIGHT. The Who: A helluva fun line up of some of LA’s freshest, funniest comics!  SICK Stand-Up Comedy!

The Sick Stand-Up Show is a stand up show that consists of headliners from Comedy Central, HBO, BET, VH1, NBC and SNL. Each week an iO West student is also given a chance to perform. It is hosted by Jeremiah Watkins and Justin Alexio.

And since you’ve already made it out of your couch imprint, and into the wonderful world of comedy, stick around and use your tickets to enjoy the rest of the night’s line up for FREE. At 10pm we begin our infamous Cherry After School Special with Cherry, Cherry Crush, and The Cherry Pick. Finally, at 11:30 bells we have our Cage Match, where you are the judge as to who is funny, and who is not…as funny.

Monday night blues creeping in on you again?  Well grab that comedy crayon box and make your evening a little more colorful, at iO West Theater!!!
