Middle Seat is a fully improvised show that asks (and answers) the question – what happens when you’re an unwilling, captive audience stuck between two strangers? Conceived and performed by veteran IOWest performers Kevin McShane (The Roadents), Zabeth Russell (Mystic River) and Andy Trask (LOST), Middle Seat uses three audience suggestions to create one long-form piece that takes place entirely on a plane. The show hilariously combines the familiar nightmare of air travel snafus, the cramped quarters of airline seating, and the relationship dynamics of that couple next door who won’t shut up at 3 in the morning.
